The major new feature of this release is the support for Contract Brewing, and the Notification System.
The major new feature of this release is the Mobile Picking App. From the mobile app, you can easily do picking now, including scanning keg barcodes.
Certain administrative actions which were available by default to administrators before now require administrators to elevate their permissions before performing. The roles and permissions have also been adjusted to be easier to understand now.
The two highlights of this release are improved calendar, business partner address validation, pushing inventory count descrepancies to QBO, and embeddable On Tap Map and API.
After performing an inventory count you cannot push the values of the discrepancies to QBO now. This will mouse journal entries to expense the loses to the appropriate ledgers which you have configured in the configuration page.
The On Tap Map shows the locations of all your customers on Google Maps. Perfect for embedding in your public site so that customers know where to find you on tap. It is now configurable, so you can control what is shown (min purchase price, BP category, which geographical area, etc). There is also an iframe generator which allows you to add the OnTapMap to your public facing website with a single line of code.
Addresses entered for business partners are now looked up via Google's API. So it can partially fill in the fields for you, and ensure less mistakes.
The schedule calendar is much faster, appears in the mobile app, and does not hide any brews anymore.
This is a very big release, but there are two highlights: The introduction of the Square Payments integration, and an overhaul of production.
SKUs can now be uploaded to your Square Point-of-Sale (POS). Sales created in the Square POS are instantly reflected in Brew Ninja.
The production system has had a visual overhaul on the Desktop version of Brew Ninja. The WIP Status report will always show exactly what is in a tank and the value. All production tasks related to the tanks are now available on the mobile application as well now. So right from your phone you can transfer, package, etc.
